Blowing Bubbles – It’s a Enterpreneur and VC Market August 26, 2006

Are we in a Bubble?  After the techcrunch party I’d say yes.  Calling the beginning of a growth phase bubblish… then it’s a bubble.  I’ve been reading Paul Kedrosky for some time and he seems to put the right touch on fuzzy issues like this.  On his blog post “The Venture Business is a Bubble Business” he puts it right.  Fred Wilson A VC in New York chimes in.. and points out the lack of liquidity as the check against any raging bubble activity.

Fred Wilson goes on to say that he is even converting to the new ways to read feeds.  Fred is an investor in these kinds of companies and he’s an A-list VC blogger.  So it’s save to say he’s an early adopter. If he’s just adopting now then that speaks volumes on how far we need to go with Web 2.0 to convert average web users…I think that we’re getting there at a fast pace and when we do then the bubble question becomes real…
