Thank you for requesting an invitation to Web 2.0 2006.

We received an overwhelming number of requests for invitations this year, many more than we are able to accommodate. We have just sold out the conference and closed registration, so unfortunately we are not able to issue you an invitation.

If you have any questions, please contact web2mail@oreilly.com. However, the venue we have chosen simply limits the number of attendees we can comfortably accommodate, and we will not be able to register any new participants for this event, including those who have already received an invitation. We apologize for any inconvenience, and encourage you to sign up to receive information about our 2007 Web 2.0 conference at www.oreillynet.com/cs/nl/home#conferences.

You may also be interested in participating in the just-announced companion event to the conference, Web 2.0 Expo, taking place April 15-18, 2007 in San Francisco. Web 2.0 Expo emphasizes the educational aspect of Web 2.0 through an expanded conference and tradeshow, bringing the themes and core principles to a wider audience. For more information about Web 2.0 Expo and to receive more information, please visit www.web2-0expo.com.

The Web 2.0 Conference Team

I requested a ticket to pay months ago and just got this message (see above) via email.  Looks like it’s sold out.
