Now I’m really excited!  Curt Shilling is blogging.  Of course everyone knows (or now knows) that I’m from the Boston area and a huge Curt Shilling & Red Sox fan.

Here is Curt throwing out his first post.  Curt congrats and can’t wait to talk more.

Okay Fur,

I see your Sox red bleeding through. This blogging thing might be alot of fun.

Be forewarned…The Yankees Rule. Period!

As expected some of the local sports reporters are upset because — O my — the ballplayer is communicating directly with the fan and is cutting out the media filter.

Mike,
This is the new media model. The internet is a direct business model for media franchises. Curt is his own franchise and he can command an audience. There is no filter. There is still a need for reporters to provide 3rd party validation.

Curt has the right strategy here… All players should do the same. Curt and others should sign up on the PodTech Network.

Here’s hoping that Jonathan Papelbon is next to blog.
