Jonathan Schwartz, CEO of Sun Microsystems, posted an epic on rewriting RegFD. This is the kind of leadership that the market needs right now. I would say that 80% of investors (if not 99%) use the Internet to be informed. Press releases are one form of communication and with the Internet media like podcasts and video investors can get “more” knowledge.
PodTech recently did the first ever earnings call as a podcast with Seagate’s CEO Bill Watkins – meaning reviewing the earnings call content in the form of a podcast (not a recycled earnings call). We complied with all RegFD filings and the audienced loved it.
