Over past 12 months PodTech.net has been working with 32 top ‘blue chip’ enterprise marketers and IT departments trying to develop a deeper understanding of their requirements of social media both from an infrastructure and advertising perspective. What we’ve learned is that the enterprise social media infrastructure is hard to sell and deploy into so when I heard about this deal between Automatic (WordPress corporation) and KnowNow last week my reaction was brilliant move – a win/win.
KnowNow is a very strong RSS based company that has years of experience working with enterprise customers. Automatic has a great and growing platform but lacks the resources to develop the enterprise.
