Tribe 2.0 – Tribe Gets Their Leader Back

After leaving the ‘tribe’ for a while Mark Pinkus is back.  I don’t know Mark personally but I”ve met him a few times in the hallways of conferences but he seemed to me to be guy and main force behind ‘tribe’.    Pete Cashmore of Mashable has a post on it.

As an entrepreneur losing the ‘helm’ is hard and if the market shifts (which it has) the creative force needs to take over.  This is my take here.  Leadership in an evolving market requires the lead entrepreneur to stay in command and navigate the company into warm waters.  Tribe seems to have been slaloming ice bergs in the north atlantic.  With all the social media rage going on Mark has had plenty of mileage in the space.  Good luck Mark.
